Instructions for Removing the Shift Knob

Model: Mercedes Classe C W202 - Years 1993-2000
Part: Shift knob

To remove the shift knob, no tools are required since it is simply snapped onto the lever shaft. Just disengage the retaining ring underneath by slightly rotating it and pull firmly upward to remove the knob. To reinstall, align it with the lever shaft and press it down. You can choose to install an aluminum or carbon-fiber effect knob for a more modern and appealing look in the cabin, possibly matching it with other inserts.
