Resetting Any Service Light on a Mercedes C300

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013
Part: Warning light – error code

The B5 service on the Mercedes is simply an oil and filter change, but it also includes a series of checks that may lead to replacements, such as brakes, wipers, etc., so you never know exactly what the shop will change. If you want to reset the service light for this service, do it like you would for any other service: on the steering wheel, press the menu button located at the top left of the wheel. Scroll until you reach Service. Find the type of service you want to reset. Press the electronic key to position 1, then to position 2, and then to position 0. Now press the two buttons on the left side of the steering wheel: menu and the black button next to it. The touchscreen will appear. Scroll to "Vehicle data", then go down in the dropdown menu to "Assyst Plus". Press the start button until it reaches position 2, then scroll down to "full service", "confirm service". It will ask for the oil temperature. Confirm it with Yes. Turn off the vehicle. Put the key back in position 1 to verify and return to Service. You will see that going to Service plus will show you the next service.
