If on the instrument panel display the indications appear in an unreadable way or the writings seem interrupted, it is because a few pixels of the display itself have now turned off: it is possible to remedy this problem in a fairly simple and economical way: they now exist in after market companies specialized in the marketing of these components at very reasonable prices; moreover, installation is just as simple as the flat band is connected to the electronic circuit board through a special socket and is not soldered. Then start by removing the instrument panel from the dashboard by pressing in the appropriate slots at the base of the frame; once extracted, open the rear tabs in order to separate the front glass from the rear circuit, remove the frame around the display, open the safety catches of the socket and remove the flat; then house the new display, hook the flat band and proceed backwards for installation.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
