Replacing Instrument Cluster Display

Detailed instructions - If the display on the instrument cluster is hard to read or the text appears broken, it's likely that some pixels on the display have failed. You can fix this issue quite simply and affordably: there are now aftermarket companies specializing in these components at very reasonable prices. Additionally, installation is straightforward since the flat ribbon cable connects to the electronic circuit board via a dedicated connector and is not soldered. Start by removing the instrument cluster from the dashboard by pressing in the designated slots at the base of the frame. Once extracted, open the rear tabs to separate the front glass from the rear circuit, remove the frame around the display, unlock the connector, and pull out the flat cable. Then, install the new display, attach the flat ribbon cable, and reverse the steps for installation.
