How to Adjust the Headlights on a Mercedes?

Model: Mercedes Mercedes Various
Part: Headlight

In this tutorial, you will learn how to adjust the headlights on a Mercedes, a very simple operation applicable to many models from the German manufacturer. First, position the vehicle in front of a light wall, about 1 metre away, then turn on the dipped headlights and mark the wall indicating the position of the light beam. Next, locate the white bolt at the back of the headlights and, using a 6mm hex key, rotate it in both directions until you reach the desired position, ensuring both beams are level.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer. After restoring the correct pressures, you need to reset the warning light that has illuminated on the instrument cluster. To do this, locate the reset button on the lower central console. Press this button and hold it down for at least 3 seconds, after which the low pressure indication will turn off.
