Clutch Replacement Instructions

Replacing the clutch is not a DIY maintenance task as it requires specific tools and a certain level of mechanical knowledge: an error in centring the disc could compromise its proper functioning; in any case, some repair kits include a centring tool. Start by disconnecting the battery and removing the cover near the gear lever, then remove the lever itself and disconnect the master cylinder of the clutch pedal; next, remove the supports of the gearbox and the fixing pins to the engine to move it away, supporting it with a suitable jack; once you reach the clutch area, proceed to remove the clutch and the flywheel, which will need to be machined; then install the flywheel after machining, the bearing, and then the clutch disc and pressure plate, centring them with the appropriate tool before securing them; reposition the gearbox, connect the master cylinder of the clutch, and perform the bleeding.
