How to Replace the Rear Wheel Bearing on a Mercedes-Benz Class B W245

In this video, you will see how to replace a bearing on the rear wheel of a Mercedes-Benz Class B W245: first, loosen the wheel bolts, then lift the car and remove the wheel. Use a wire brush and WD-40 to clean the brake caliper, then unscrew it with a 13mm spanner. Separate the caliper by removing the pads. Next, unscrew the caliper mounting and remove the caliper bracket. Clean the brake disc fastening elements with a wire brush, then unscrew the brake disc mounting and take it off. Now clean the area and disconnect the ABS sensor, then unscrew the bearing mounting bracket of the wheel hub. The hub must be removed with the bearing, as it is a single piece. Now you can install the new wheel hub along with the respective bearing. After tightening to 82 Nm, the bearing block should not tilt on the axle spindle. Reconnect the ABS sensor, tightening to 9 Nm, then spray it with copper grease. Now install the brake disc, tightening it to 9 Nm. After cleaning, reposition the brake caliper with the pads. Spray copper grease on the area where the disc contacts the wheel rim and clean the brake disc surface with a suitable spray; after a few minutes, you can refit the wheel and lower the car. Job done.
