In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the shift knob on a Mercedes E-Class, a very simple and quick operation. First, enter the cabin, then locate the collar of the selector located at the bottom of the knob and completely unscrew it. Next, grasp the knob itself, pull it forcefully upward while simultaneously rotating it in both directions, and separate it from the shaft. At this point, simply position the replacement, fit it securely, and screw the retaining collar back on. If necessary, also replace the collar to match the new shift knob.
