How to Replace the Fuel Filter on the Mercedes W124

Replacing the fuel filter on the Mercedes E-Class, model produced until 1995, is very simple. Today, thanks to our short video tutorial, we will explain how to perform this operation independently. Start by opening the front hood of the vehicle and then spray some lubricant on the nut that secures the filter bracket. Continue by loosening the support bracket of the fuel filter using a 19 mm wrench. Once the bracket is removed, as shown in the video, you can take out the filter. After removing it, clean its housing with appropriate cleaner and then install the new filter. Before tightening the bracket, lubricate it with oil, then insert it and tighten the components. Ensure the filter works by performing manual tests and finally tighten the clamps.
