Replacing the fuel filter on the Mercedes E-Class, model produced up to 1995, is very simple. Today, thanks to our short video tutorial, we will explain how to perform this operation independently. Start by opening the front hood of the car and then spray lubricant on the nut that secures the filter bracket. Continue by unscrewing the support bracket of the fuel filter, using a 19 combination wrench. Once the bracket is removed, as shown in the video, we can remove the filter. Once removed, clean its housing with a suitable detergent and then install the new filter. Before screwing the bracket, lubricate it with oil and then insert it and tighten the elements. Make sure the filter works by performing manual tests and finally tighten the clamps.
