Instructions for Replacing the Fuel Filter

The fuel filter is integrated into the low-pressure pump, which is submerged inside the fuel tank: to replace this filter, you must first remove the pump, which consists of two parts. Lift and remove the rear seat cushion to access the pump location, then unscrew the protective cap flanges. Next, unscrew the retaining rings and extract the two components of the pump. One of them has a metal filter that just needs cleaning; in the other, cut the metal clamp to separate the two parts of the bucket and then extract the filter. Once the new filter is applied, use a new clamp to secure it.
