Dismantling the Engine Air Filter Housing

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005

To dismantle the engine air filter box (airbox), first remove the filter: unclip the fixing tabs of the cover and disconnect the intake manifold hose to completely remove it; once the cover is off, you can extract the air filter and then proceed to dismantle the lower part of the box which is fixed to rubber supports: simply pull upwards to complete the dismantling, taking care to disconnect the side intake duct without deforming or damaging it.
