Removing the instrument cluster is very simple. You only need a piece of stiff wire that is not too thin or a button removal tool. At this point, adjust the steering wheel by moving it all the way out and down to have more maneuvering space. Then, locate the holes at the corners of the instrument cluster frame where you will insert the button removal tool to release the retaining tabs and extract the cluster from its housing, then disconnect the corresponding connector.
