All diesel Mercedes models have an AdBlue tank and its corresponding warning light. The AdBlue system warning light illuminates when the fluid level in the tank needs topping up, as it is insufficient for the vehicle's normal operation. Note that if you do not top up after a few miles, the car will no longer start. After topping up, you must also reset the warning light. To perform this maintenance, use a diagnostic computer connected to the vehicle via the OBD port. Once the computer is connected, follow its instructions to confirm the reset and clear the warning light.
