Detailed instructions - In this video, learn how to open the hood vertically on a Mercedes C-Class. This feature allows for better access to the engine, making it easier to work on. On the right side of the vehicle, there is a small red button: press and hold it while lifting the hood and let it go vertically. You will notice it stays in this position, giving you excellent access to all engine components. Naturally, be cautious; if it's very windy, this is not the ideal position to hold, as it can be dangerous. To close it, simply press the red button again and lower the hood.
