How to Replace the Key Battery for the Mercedes A-Class

This tutorial is valid for replacing the key battery for the Mercedes A-Class, B-Class, C-Class, and E-Class. The first step is to remove the metal key from the shell; to do this, pull the small lever located nearby. The second step is to insert the metal key into the opening of the shell to open the cover where the battery is located. Now, remove the worn battery and replace it with a CR2025 battery, which can also be purchased online. Once the new battery is inserted, reassemble the shell and then the metal key.
