How to Open the Fuel Cap on the Mercedes A-Class

To open the fuel cap on the Mercedes A-Class, unlock the vehicle with the key. The central locking system prevents the fuel door from opening when the vehicle is locked and stationary. To refuel, unlock the vehicle and then push on the fuel door to open it. Remove the cap by turning it to the right; this will allow you to refuel. Once you finish, to secure the cap, simply turn it to the left and then push the fuel door back in. This mechanism was designed by Mercedes to prevent fuel theft.
