Replacement of the fuel tank cap door opening module of the Mercedes A-Class W176

Model: Mercedes Classe A W176 - Years 2012-2018

If the module that opens the fuel tank cap door of the Mercedes Class A stops working, we need to proceed with its replacement. With the help of a small screwdriver, we remove the outer part of the door and with the same tool we disconnect the opening module, to the right of the fuel cap. Then starting from the bottom, we slide it out, remove the electrical connector and remove it. We take the new module, insert the connector, lock it in place and test its operation. We put back the outer part of the door to complete the operation.
