Unlocking the fuel door under normal circumstances on a Mercedes A-Class model W 176 is a simple and quick task you can do yourself. The first thing you need to do is unlock the vehicle's central locking by pressing the button on the remote if you are outside the vehicle.

If you are inside the vehicle, pull the knob next to the driver's seat. In the first case, use the button on the remote, then position yourself in front of the fuel door and press on it to open it. Turn the cap counterclockwise to refuel.
