How to Remove the Stereo from the Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

This is a simple operation that does not require special tools, just some long levers to unlock the stereo's locking mechanism. Insert these levers into the two slots at the bottom and press until you hear a click.
Don't worry, the click is just the sound made when the mechanism unlocks. Now, pull the two levers toward you, and the stereo will come out with them. Be careful to disconnect the rear cables and replace the stereo with one of your choice.
