Today's video will demonstrate the procedure required to reset the engine warning light on the Mercedes SLK. Before performing the reset, it is necessary to have resolved the issue that triggered the warning light; therefore, you can only clear the fault notification using a diagnostic tool connected to the vehicle's OBD socket. At this point, access the error codes present and reset them, checking after a few seconds that the warning light has been cleared from the instrument cluster; once the process is complete, you can disconnect the diagnostic tool.
