How to reset the service light on the Mercedes SLK 2004

If you want to manually reset the service light on your first-generation Mercedes SLK (2004), simply follow all the steps described in the following guide. First, start the instrument cluster and press the button located to the left of the speedometer until the total kilometres travelled is displayed on the small screen. Immediately after, turn off the ignition and turn it back on while holding down the same button used previously. Wait a few seconds and release the button as soon as the reset of the light is completed.
