Operation: How do you reset the air conditioning system of the Mercedes S-Class?

The air conditioner reset procedure on the Mercedes S-Class is done by connecting a diagnostic tool to the car's OBD port: this is located on the lower left side of the dashboard compared to the steering column. Once the scanner is connected to the port, it will be possible to select the model of the car in question and its corresponding version; at this point, it will be possible to proceed following the tutorial instructions to reset the air conditioner to its initial settings. It can be verified that the settings have returned to the default ones by disconnecting the scanner.
