To reset the air conditioner on the Mercedes S-Class, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port: this is located on the lower left side of the dashboard near the steering column. After the scanner is connected, select the specific car model and its corresponding version; at this point, follow the tutorial instructions to restore the air conditioner to its initial settings.

You can verify that the settings have returned to default by disconnecting the scanner.
