To reset the Service light on the Mercedes E-Class, turn the key in the ignition switch. Once the instrument panel is on, press and hold the call answer buttons and the OK button located on the steering wheel.

This will bring up a screen on the display where you need to select the "ASSYST PLUS" option. This will lead you to another screen where you should select the "Conf. Full Serv." option.

This will turn off the light permanently.
