In this article, you will learn how to replace the radio in a Mercedes-Benz B-Class W245. The only tool required is a flathead screwdriver. First, disconnect the battery located in the designated compartment on the passenger side, beneath the support surface.

Then, using the appropriate tool or flathead screwdriver, pry at the designated points on the sides of the dashboard, removing the cover of the air conditioning controls. Next, remove the cover from the upper air conditioning vents.

Once both covers are removed, you will have access to the screws securing the radio; at this point, remove the securing screws, then you can take out the radio, disconnect the connectors, and install the new radio. After installing the new radio, screw in the securing screws, replace the covers, and reconnect the battery.
