In this tutorial we can see how to unlock the automatic transmission in the Mercedes E-Class, an extremely simple and quick operation, to be carried out for example in case of emergency in order to move the vehicle. First of all, let's go inside the cabin, then we grab the base of the gear shift knob and release it. We then locate the yellow button located in the rear area of the mechanism, hold it down and simultaneously move the lever to neutral. The transmission will now be unlocked and it will be possible to move or tow the vehicle.
