Video tutorial
In this video, we see that the YouTuber set out to replace the rear brake pads, but upon visual inspection, he realized that the pads did not need to be replaced; the problem was caused by the brake sensor, which was providing an incorrect reading. This component is located inside the wheel arch, behind the shock absorber, where we find a quick-release clip and some connectors, along with an electrical wire that runs to the wheel, between the two brake pads. We can find the part, for example, on auto-doc with the code FWI449 at a price of €14.77 + €9.90 for shipping. However, our onboard computer will continue to indicate that we need to change the pads, so we need to reset it. We turn on the ignition, start the car, and drive moderately for a few minutes. When the warning disappears, we press the button located on the right side of the speedometer, which will indicate that the reset is possible. We continue to hold it down until we see "reset in progress," after which we can release the button. Operation completed.

Frequently Asked QuestionsLocation of the Jack and Spare Wheel of the Toyota Yaris
In the unfortunate event that one of the wheels of the Toyota Yaris is punctured, it is useful to know the location of the lifting jack, the spare wheel, the tool to operate the jack, and to unscrew the wheel bolts. The jack is located under the driver's seat, secured to a bracket and protected by a plastic cover, which you can remove by acting on the fixing clips. The spare wheel is located under the floor panel of the boot, secured to the floor by a threaded plastic flange, alongside which you will find the tool, consisting of a bent bar, which is used to operate the jack on one side and to remove the wheel on the other. by ScegliAuto More videos
