How to Replace the Radio in a Mini Cooper

Replacing the radio in your Mini Cooper? Start by removing the trim panels before taking out the radio. Unscrew the screws on either side of the radio trim and above the centre tunnel. Pry off the stereo trim with a plastic lever. Once all the trims are removed, unscrew the securing screws on either side of the radio. Pull the stereo out by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). Connect the new radio's connectors and slide it into the centre console, then screw in the screws after securing the trims.
