Complete Disassembly of the Car Radio

Using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork, lever at the base of the tunnel around the gear lever to release the plastic clips and move it to access the retaining screws of the glove compartment. Remove the centre tunnel by gently lifting it upwards and disconnect the connector of the cigarette lighter. Position the gear lever in the central position and gently push upwards on the frame and the gear lever cover, simultaneously moving the gear knob in circular motions while pulling it upwards until it is completely removed. Remove the ashtray drawer by disconnecting it from the plastic clips at the bottom. Now it is possible to remove the side walls of the tunnel to access the retaining screws of the radio.
