To access the cabin air filter on a Mini Cooper, you need to work in the front passenger area, under the glove compartment, removing the cover that protects the central dashboard. To do this, unscrew the single Torx T20 fixing screw.

Pull the designated handle and you're done. A special tab now allows you to easily open the pollen filter box and remove it. Insert the new filter you purchased in the correct orientation (as the old filter was inserted) and close the compartment.

Refit the cover and screw in the Torx T20 fixing screw, and you're done.
