How to replace the battery of the Mini 2012? Let's see how the old battery is removed from inside the dedicated compartment. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front bonnet, releasing the locking lever of the same with the fingers, then we put it in safety. We will find the battery cover at the top left; remove the cover and disassemble the locking pins of the battery terminals, then, remove it from the engine compartment. We mount a new battery in the housing together with the electrical terminals and the cover.
