Replacing the Front Bulb on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R50, R52, R53 - Years: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007

Lift the bonnet and place the support rod. Remove the rear cover of the headlamp and first disconnect the connector. Once done, you will notice a small metal clip behind the H4 bulb, similar to a paperclip: open this clip.

Now, simply extract the bulb from its socket and insert a new one that you have purchased. Then, proceed in reverse order.

Close the metal clip, reconnect the connector, and remember to replace the rear cover, which will protect the inside of the headlamp from dirt and dust.
