How to remove the outside rearview mirror of a Mini Cooper

Before we can start, we will have to get out of the cockpit of our Mini Cooper, and then head towards the outside rearview mirror. So let's start by completely folding the mirror inwards. After that, we will have to unscrew and remove the Allen screws that secure the mirror to the door. By doing so, we will have freed the exterior rearview mirror. At this point, we will have to extract the base of the mirror from its housing, and then disconnect the relative electrical connector. When we have completed this last step, the disassembly will be complete.
