Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Mini Cooper. Begin by unclipping and moving all the covers of the centre tunnel to access the screws that secure the side covers of the radio. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that hold the side covers, then move them aside. This will reveal the screws that secure the radio to the centre console, which you will need to unscrew and remove. Once you have completed this step, extract the radio and disconnect the relevant electrical connectors, and you will have finished the removal.
