To remove the door lock from a Mini Cooper, you first need to take off the plastic cover around the handle and also remove the entire door panel. To remove the panel, you will need to loosen the Torx screws located at the points indicated in the video. Next, you must remove the handle, which requires the removal of two 5 mm bolts found inside the door. The last part to disassemble is the lock cylinder: you need to detach the covers that conceal the Torx screws on the inside of the door, unscrew them, and then slide out the cylinder.
