If you have just purchased a new Mini Cooper and are not familiar with it, one of the questions you may have is: "How do you open the bonnet?" It’s not difficult. First, open the car door and you will see a lever on the left side near the driver's seat.

Pull it. Then, head to the bonnet and about 12 inches to the right of the Mini emblem, there should be a button. Press this button and lift the bonnet.
