Mini Cooper R55 / R56 battery replacement

Turn off the car, pull the handbrake, raise the hood and put on the special support rod. Detach and move the gasket near the battery compartment. Unscrew the two 10 bolts that fix the plastic above the battery laterally, where the gasket was fixed. Once removed, unscrew the 10 mm negative pole and only then do the same to the positive pole. Unscrew the catch placed immediately in front of the battery, then lift the handles of the battery and remove it. To assemble, obviously proceed in reverse order: insert the new battery and fasten all the bolts removed previously.
