How does the Mini key work?

Model: Mini Mini F57, F54, F56, F55 - Years 2014-2023

Today we will look at the functionality of the Mini remote control. The first button is the padlock: it allows us to open the car and, if kept pressed, also the windows and the sunroof (if present). The second button is the one with the Mini logos: Holding it down, it closes the car's doors, windows and mirrors. The last button instead is the one with the stylized car: this button allows us to open only the rear trunk, without unlocking the car doors. To start the car, on the other hand, just keep it in your pocket and press the corresponding button on the dashboard of the car.
