In this short video, follow these simple steps to open the bonnet of the Mini Cooper. First, open the front door and pull the lever located under the steering wheel on the plastic pillar; then locate the bonnet release lever on the right side; pull it upwards to open the bonnet, which is held by hydraulic struts, as shown in the video. At this point, push down on the bonnet, applying some pressure to close it properly!
