In this tutorial, you will see how to dismantle the rear handbrake console in the Mini Cooper, a very simple and quick operation. First, use a flathead screwdriver to remove the ring at the end of the handbrake lever, then detach the gaiter from the base. Next, using the screwdriver again, unlock the retaining clip of the handle and slide it off the lever. At this point, simply unscrew the single rear screw, lift the console, and disconnect the internal connector located at the front.
