How to Replace the Battery on the Mini Countryman?

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

To replace the battery on the Mini Countryman, open the bonnet to access the top of the engine compartment, just below the windscreen on the passenger side. There will be a plastic grille that needs to be removed by pulling out its fixing rivets: this will allow access to the underlying battery, loosening the screws that secure it and disconnecting the cables attached to it. Once the old battery is removed, you can install the new one, securing it with bolts and connecting the appropriate terminals.
