How to Replace the Battery in a Mini Countryman Diesel

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

Before starting, open the front bonnet of your Mini Countryman. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the battery cover, then unclip and remove the cover itself. Next, loosen the bolts securing the two terminals to the battery and disconnect them. After this, unscrew and remove the lower bolt that secures the battery. At this point, extract the battery from the engine compartment, and the disassembly will be complete. To install the new battery, follow this procedure in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
