Where is the battery located in the Mini Countryman?

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

In this video, you can see where the battery is located in the Mini Countryman and how to access it, useful for example if you need to replace it or perform an emergency start. As shown, it is positioned inside the engine compartment, beneath the panel located directly in front of the windscreen, on the passenger side. Once you remove the panel, you will be able to access the two terminals, while you will need to remove the entire engine cover to replace it. In any case, ensure you disconnect the negative terminal first and reconnect the positive terminal first.
