How to Remove the Door Speaker from the Mini Cooper R55

This guide shows how to replace the speaker in the Mini Cooper R55. The first step is to remove the electric window switch using a trim removal tool. With the trim removal tool, remove the plastic cover of the speaker housing. Disconnect the electric connector for the mirrors. At this point, remove the three Torx T25 screws that hold the speaker in place. Once the old speaker is extracted, disconnect its connector and replace it with the new unit. Refit everything in position and check for correct operation.
