How do I replace the headlight bulb on the Mini R50?

In order to replace the bulb of the Mini R50 you need to open the hood so that you can access the inside of the headlight corresponding to the bulb to be replaced. Here it will be possible to extract the old bulb by disconnecting it from the connector; in this way it will be possible to connect the new bulb and insert it inside its housing in the lighthouse. Once the installation has been carried out correctly, it will be possible to close the hood and turn on the lights to check that the new bulb installed works correctly.

The disassembly is quite straightforward: start by unscrewing the gear shift knob by twisting it. Next, detach the trim at the base of the gear lever by prying along the edges. Then, remove the chrome trim that holds the gaiter in place, peeling off the leather edges from the plastic support. Apply new double-sided adhesive to the plastic tabs to insert and stick the edges of the new gaiter, securing it with the chrome trim.
