Replacing the stock radio antenna on your Mini R56 is undoubtedly one of the simplest and quickest DIY maintenance tasks you can perform. Below are the necessary steps.

First, completely switch off the car. Then, obtain an 8mm spanner and locate the antenna. Loosen the small screw located at the bottom and remove the antenna by turning it anti-clockwise.

Once done, position the new antenna and screw it in by turning it clockwise. Ensure it is securely fastened to the base, and the procedure is complete.
