How to open the bonnet of the Mini Cooper?

To open the bonnet of the Mini Cooper, go inside the cabin, on the driver’s side, to locate the lever positioned low on the left side of the dashboard. Pull this lever upwards: this will unlock the bonnet catch, which will lift slightly. At this point, insert your hand under the bonnet and move the lever that holds it closed: this will allow you to lift it completely. To close the bonnet again, simply lower it with enough force for the catch to lock back in place.
