Detailed instructions - On this Mini, the airbag light illuminated because the battery was disconnected when the front seats were moved. The ICarSoft OBD tool was used to clear the error. This device can be found on the corresponding website for £119.96, plus £10.00 for delivery. Connect it to the EOBD port (on left-hand drive vehicles, it is located in the same position). Now, with the device, you can find the error related to the airbag on the control unit and clear it, thus removing it from your instrument cluster. You can be sure that the light will no longer illuminate.
