How to Reset the Oil Warning Light on a Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014

In this guide, learn how to reset the service light on a Mini Cooper: insert the key into the "ON" position to activate the instrument cluster, then press the button located to the right of the speedometer until the display shows the outline of the vehicle with an exclamation mark surrounded by a circle. Use the selector on the left side of the steering wheel, pressing the button at the end of the lever marked "bc" until the reset is complete. When the remaining miles until the next service appear, you can release the buttons. For confirmation, switch off the instrument cluster and turn it back on to check that the maintenance light has disappeared.
