Mini - Video tutorial

Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Air filter
Operation: The procedure to replace the air filter in a Mini Cooper D R56.

In this video tutorial, we can see the procedure for replacing the air filter in a Mini Cooper D R56. The air filter should be replaced every 20,000-25,000 km, but if you travel on dirty roads every day, such as in the countryside, it is important to replace it sooner. Lift the engine hood and secure it with a suitable rod. First, we remove the engine cover grille. Take a flathead or Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the fastening elements of the cover of the box. Once the screws are removed, lift the cover and then remove the old filter element from its housing. Clean the housing and the cover, being careful not to introduce dirt into the combustion system. Install the new filter element in its place and reassemble all the parts in reverse order.
