How to remove the key from the Mini Cooper remote control.

In this short and simple guide, we will see how to remove the physical key from the Mini Cooper remote control. The physical key could be useful to us in case the battery is drained and we cannot open the doors with the remote control. So, let's pull the key out of the remote control to extract it. At this point, we remove the cap of the lock cylinder, which we find on the driver's side handle; we manually open the car to access it. Then, we replace the remote control battery to restore its normal functioning.

Locate the inspection cap of the headlamp (at the rear of the headlamp) and remove it.
