How to reset the electric windows on a Mini R50.

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Warning light – error code

In this video, we see how to reset the power windows on a Mini R50: it may be necessary to do this if for any reason we have disconnected the battery and the windows - which do not have side pillars - do not allow the glass to move up and down while opening or closing the doors. The glass does not seal properly, so it is important to set the correct upper and lower stopping points. We turn on the ignition, and with both windows closed, we press both power window switches for a couple of seconds, and then let go. This way, the correct stopping point is restored.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
